New Yamaha R3 bike launched in India
price tag of Rs.3.25 lacs ex-showroom Delhi
Showcased in EICMA in 2014 at Milan, Italy, the much awaited Yamaha R3 has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs.3.25 lacs ex-showroom Delhi.
Yamaha R3, brought in India through CKD route, will compete against the KTM RC390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 in the Indian market.
R3's engine is a 321cc, 2-cyl., liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valves, which delivers 42PS @ 10750 rpm of power and 29.6 Nm @ 9000 rpm of torque.
The motorcycle will be available in Midnight Black and Racing Blue colour schemes.
R3 shares its diamond frame, body panels and even dimensions with the Yamaha R25.
There are also a lot of after market parts available in the international market like slip-ons, full system racing exhausts etc. for R3 which will attract performance enthusiasts who use their motorbikes for track days too.
